Weather Station

My weather station consists of the Netatmo Smart Home Weather Station Kit. I currently have the Netatmo rain gauge and the indoor and outdoor temperature sensors.

I have had the weather station for at least 7 years now and honestly, this has been the most trouble free, reliable weather station that I have ever owned, and I have owned a few. The station uses very minimal battery power, with the indoor and outdoor sensors requiring very infrequent battery replacement, and the system warning me of replacement well and truly before the system fails to function.

My setup is nowhere near scientific, but the sensors are mounted away from sunlight so they can hopefully give a somewhat accurate representation of the current temperature and the rain gauge is out in the open, although I might need to recalibrate the gauge,

A link to the weather station is here:

I would highly recommend one of these weather stations if you're looking for a accurate, easy to setup weather station. As a added bonus, I was able to create a script which accesses the weather station API and creates a live data readout from the station. This is processed here locally and updated to the website at 10 minute intervals.
